As a growing Licensed Home Care Services Agency (LHCSA), we are looking for a highly organized and motivated Office Manager / HR Coordinator to join our New York City team and help support our daily operations and continued growth.

Position Overview

The Office Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily office operations while providing administrative and HR support to employees, applicants, caregivers, patients, and leadership.

The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and previous experience in office management and/or human resources, preferably within the healthcare or home care industry.

Bilingual Spanish/English proficiency is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day office operations and ensure smooth and efficient workflows
  • Maintain accurate employee, caregiver, and contract personnel records
  • Organize and track employee evaluations, certifications, and compliance documentation
  • Support HR functions, including onboarding, employee files, documentation, and administrative processes
  • Assist with recruitment and communicate with applicants throughout the hiring process
  • Support onboarding of new employees, caregivers, and patients
  • Serve as a key point of contact between the local office and corporate headquarters
  • Provide professional and responsive support to applicants, employees, patients, families, and visitors
  • Assist with administrative tasks, basic bookkeeping, reports, and office coordination
  • Maintain organized and confidential personnel and agency records
  • Help ensure documentation is accurate and maintained according to company policies and applicable requirements
  • Coordinate and follow up on staff documentation and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate with the Outreach team to identify opportunities for agency growth and community partnerships
  • Assist management with special projects and other administrative or HR-related duties as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred
  • Previous experience in office management, HR, healthcare administration, or coordination
  • Home care or LHCSA experience preferred
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English – required
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Ability to handle confidential employee and business information professionally
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and electronic file/document management systems
  • Professional, dependable, and team-oriented attitude
